October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and here at Ouachita Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, we proudly stood together in a sea of pink to honor the strength, courage, and resilience of those who have battled breast cancer. This month, we designated a special day as Pink Out Day, a time to celebrate survivors, remember loved ones, and raise awareness in our community.
This year’s Pink Out Day held even deeper meaning for us. Two of our very own team members are breast cancer survivors. Their journey, strength, and unwavering spirit inspire us every day. To show our appreciation and support, we presented them with a special gift, a small token of our immense gratitude for their courage and for being such an important part of our Ouachita family.
Their stories remind us that hope is powerful, and community matters. We are proud to stand beside them, not just as coworkers, but as friends and supporters in their journey.
